Web Design & Content Development

As the first Director of Creative Projects at Urban Zen, I launched our digital platforms. Donna Karan is an icon in fashion design, but Urban Zen is a brand that encompasses apparel, jewelry, furniture, home accessories, and objects of desire. With a focus on artisan craftsmanship and products inspired by cultures from around the world, part of our ethos was that our website celebrate those elements across all touchpoints.

I brought together the team that built the sites, and have worked closely with designers, developers, photographers, retouchers and writers through every redesign and re-platforming. As a result, I’ve touched a range of e-commerce process milestones from creative concepts, sitemaps, design, development and photography through to thinking about user journeys, inventory management systems, product data, cross selling, plugins, SEO, packaging, and automated emails.
